A custom game on the pack, for brands that already print a QR code

You already print a QR code on the package. Today it goes to a landing page. It could go to a level where your product is the hero and the prize is a coupon for the next purchase.

On the Pack, our example CPG game: a product character in aisle 7, price-tag gremlins, the grey Knockoff Box.

Why a game earns the scan that a landing page does not

A QR code to a website asks the shopper to read. A QR code to a game asks them to play, and people play. In the aisle it is thirty seconds with your product in their hand and on their screen; at home it is a reason to pick up the pack again. The coupon at the end drives the next purchase, and the scan, play and redemption data comes back to you by SKU and by region, from packaging you were already paying to print.

What your packaged-goods game looks like

Your product is the hero, modeled with your label. The level is the aisle, the kitchen or the campsite, wherever your product lives. Seasonal SKUs get seasonal levels, which gives the seasonal SKU a reason to exist beyond the flavor. A limited run gets a limited level, and a retail partner can get a co-branded level, which is a reason for the buyer to take the display.

Rewards that fit CPG

Coupons are issued as codes you control, redeemable online or through your retail partners' systems.

What it costs

The Packaged Goods plan is $399 a month with a $2,000 build fee spread over 12 months ($167/month). Includes the on-pack QR program and coupon management, campaign levels tied to launches and seasons, a new level every other month, co-marketing assets for retail partners, and redemption analytics you own.

How it gets built

Intake form, playable first level in five business days, full game in ten. We provide the QR artwork at print resolution and a shelf-talker version. The Game & Character Guide doubles as the sell sheet your sales team hands to buyers.

Questions we get asked

Does the QR code have to change when the game changes?

No. One QR code, printed once, points to the game forever. Levels and rewards change behind it.

Can different SKUs open different levels?

Yes. Each SKU can carry its own code and open its own level, which also tells you which SKU drove the scan.

Who owns the data?

You do. Plays, clears and redemptions by SKU and region are yours, exported monthly or on request.

Can a retailer get its own version?

Yes. A co-branded level for a retail partner, with a reward redeemable at their stores, is included on the plan.
